SHANGHAI, 18 APRIL, 2017 – Labbrand has appointed Denise Sabet as Managing Director North America, effective immediately. In the newly-created role, Sabet will take the lead to further drive Labbrand’s presence in the North American region.

Sabet will be focused on accelerating the agency’s expansion in the US and will oversee the set-up and development of the new Labbrand office in Vancouver, Canada, to be opened later this year. The move is part of Labbrand’s wider plans that enables to offer deeper support to existing and potential clients in areas of Research, Naming, Strategy, Design, as well as Digital via the company’s digital transformation agency MADJOR.

“Building on the momentum of our recent New York launch, Labbrand Vancouver will tap into the existing and emerging opportunities of the West Coast of North America and Canadian-based companies and brands. This is an important region for technology and gaming companies, as well as lifestyle and hospitality brands,” said Sabet. Having joined Labbrand in 2009, Sabet holds over 12 years of business experience and is a recognized thought leader on behaviour, culture, and branding in the global context. She formerly held the positions of General Manager at both Labbrand’s Shanghai and New York offices.

Vladimir Djurovic, CEO of Labbrand, stated that “Denise Sabet’s strong client orientation, her aptitude for branding insights and multi-cultural agility are all invaluable assets for Labbrand and make her the perfect choice to support and accelerate Labbrand’s overall vision, while championing brand innovations in the North American region.” In her regional role, Denise will oversee the operations of the agency offices in New York and Vancouver, and will continue to report directly to the CEO of Labbrand.
